This water has only been recently added to our portfolio and is available for the first time from 1/4/23. We are sharing the lease with Knowle Angling Club so where you see their signs you can fish.
As a new venue we can’t tell you too much about it other than it’s known as a trout water with grayling in the lower reaches around Pensford, coarse fish are also known to be in the river. It’s a destination for the explorers amongst the membership.
It’s open to fly anglers from the 1st of April and then from 16th of June coarse anglers can also visit, it will be closed to all fishing on the 15th of March.
A popular spot is Bye Mills where there’s a car park (signed for Knowle Anglers), when you arrive you’ll see a box with a clipboard, please sign in and out and identify yourself as a FADAA member. Bye Mills car park location; https://w3w.co/clipboard.standard.penned
On some parts of the river the license does not give access to the banks only the water. At the moment we have not obtained rights to use the banks along the entire stretch, on the reaches indicated below access is for the bank and the river so we suggest that you stick to these;
